there's nothing bs about it, skills and career are the only thing in the game that can't be sped up in anyway, you have a limit every day you can spend on them. That means you HAVE to specialise in something, ending with a customisable character. It's also completely even, no one has any advantages or disadvantages when it comes to skills. The stat requirement will be what stops some lv 1 player being just as able to equip an item as a lv 40+. I can't honestly see anything wrong with skills being used as requirements.
One sentiment is that it forces people to specialize. If skills would be added to requirements. It would be nice to have items for all skills, like Military Assault/Fortification/Repair.

And it would cause the customizations to be less up to the individual, and more focused on what you would need to do to be able to be able to use top of the line items.

Although there could be a requirement to at least have one skill level on the weapon you want. So that you are familiar with the weapon of your choice.

Completely agree. We should not force people to go too far down a skill path that they may later regret and not like their character anymore. The opportunity for change, or even just adding a new element to your character should always be there.

But 1 or 2 levels in that required skill would make sense and require a bit of effort, but not total dedication at the cost of everything else.
Gornikel Wrote:Old weapons, the ones we have now, could still be on the market, but every single new one would require skills.

There, our weapons would still be usable and even triple value or more over time, as they would be looked for by non skill users or those that will concentrate on a single one.

i like your're thinking. anything that may possibly make my dual pistols more attractive to someone.

i agree that skill requirments is a good idea. but, only if some of the skills can be conpensated / substitued with caraeer level (such as Military).
