No, it wouldn't. It would add additional cost to a gang war system that has no real benefits apart from GCR. Even if it gave gangs much more GPs for winning against a gang with turrets, the need for new improved uses for GP greatly outweigh the need to have shiny .50 cal machine guns raining down hell.

If turrets were added before new uses of GP were instated, everyone would be rallying for position to war gangs without turrets, as fighting a gang capable of repairing and having turrets shooting at you would be a good reason not to declare.

Here is i few things to chew on...


More donator status for brand new players to keep them interested after 1 day.

Maybe a one off cash or credit bonus or extra donator days for reaching a particular level.

The ability to leave your gang if you are the president. having to find somebody to sit in your gang just to get out seems stupid. maybe a proffessianal sales office would be an idea.

The ability to leave gangs during a war but not join. In RL anybody can get up and walk from conflict (unless they are being battered of course).

Not being able to steal things from gangs that are on loan from the vault is far from reality. It would be possible to run away from a gang with an smg in my hands in RL. It states in the game rules "this is a game of criminals".

Attatchments for weapons that have stat modifiers. Upgraded sights for long range guns, grip for shotguns, sword/blade/axe sharpening, upgraded handles for better grip. all with modifiers. etc etc etc

Multiple player attacks on enemies. i.e 2/3/4/5 on 1. with a timed out link to organise and execute.. only available for same gang members. again... 2 or more people can jump 1 person in RL.

Buy protection from police, or some source,to keep an eye on somebody. if they are seen attacking you by cops the risk of being jailed goes up every time until they are finally caught and jailed for say 30/60 minutes with no escape with credits.. only gang member bust with low success rate.

i agree. the gangs with money would just turtle up and not really have to worry about being attacked

i personally would like to see all hospitalization times dropped to under 20 mins except if you are from england and have quit the game at least 3 times.

so you're all scared of a few gangs with say a few gp sitting in stock of getting turrets and making themselves nigh invincible? huh who woulda thunk of that idea i wonder?

not afraid, just sounds boring. it's hard enough to fight a gang w/ 30 people. you're probably being a smart ass, but i don't care.

but to not go off topic. i think torrents are bad since they will make the game More boring.

while i like the turret idea, i think other additions to use gps with would be more fun and add more to the game/ganglife. would give gang members more of a reason to stick with a gang as well as contribute to warring.

off the top of my head....

gang gyms=each increase adds 1% to every person in the gangs gym gains
gang travel agent=each increase decreases travel cost by 5%
gang medic=each increase decreases time by hospitalization by 1%
gang weapons specialist=increases critical hit rate or increases hosp time

nice but they would have to cost heaps as if they were cheap u cud buy the travel one and get like 100 percent off.

well, of course they shouldn't be cheap. but, to be honest, would you rather travel for 20% less or gain 4% more in the gym?

they were rough % i put out there anyhow.
though i guess if a gang did decide to strictly spend their gps on travel discounts, that might create a way for gangs to make money by running items.
