Yea how does ShadowJack give me more experience than ShadowGuard ? I get over 400 XP for the most random people, and someone like SG, 350 is the highest I've seen from him.

This conversation comes up time and time again. And time and time again nothing happens. My best guess to explain the crazy fluctuations in experience has always been an attempt to increase randomization in targets.

Case in point; If I could beat SG handsdown and he gave me 935 exp every attack, I would hit him relentlessly. Online or off. Gang war or not.

There is a good solution.

Reward activity with experience.

It would compensate the loss in regular fighting, and motivate people to play.

Wars (hideout attack and repairs) could give XP to players, for example.

true story rafal. i personally think EXP should be more based on LEVEL than on "power level." that would put some emphasis in levelling stats instead of power levelling by a little bit so that a level 50 w/ no stats gives good xp, meaning its not the best idea to rush or people will farm you hard.

granted, if i'm not mistaken, there is an "exp cap," which means certain levels CANT earn more than a certain amoutn of experience per battle. that being said, i dont see why this idea is a problem..

and to be different from other games, it wouldnt be 100% based on level, but primarily level, not power only

So, unless xp from fights is tweaked, you are doomed to not lvl as fast as possible because you don't have any other option than tweaking your fight's xp.
