The Main reason for most muggings is simple.

they told someone who told another who told another until it reached the wrong person.

The poi info in both creds and wealth are usefull but a high volume must be traded to really see a difference specially in the wealth.

Best tip I can give someone in this game is simple,
Don't tell anyone you have credits or items for sale in the market.

the chance of you being mugged at random is very very slight.
