It could break "spirit of the game" rules like Pun said. I'm in agreement with his post.

I think the simple solution then will be some sort of "noob protection" witnessed in most MMORPG's with maybe the exception of the code being nullified in gang wars.


They do play the game. There's no knowing if they have cash in their banks perhaps. Over the 2 years they've been playing, surely they've done some crimes.

Zen has busted people too. I'd rather she keep intervening in that way if it means I have that additional chance to get out of jail.

We dont need any code for whats going on. I like the option of being able to hosp whomever i want.

I think we can all agree you can abuse this option zen has given us. If you abuse it, well then it goes againt the spirit of the game.

That is so stupid that you can abuse the ability... Why can't I abuse this ability? It's there isn't it? Is there an exact rule that specifies who I can and can't hospitalize and what reasons allow me to use this ability?

Spirit of the Game is a crap rule that should not apply to players not breaking any other rule. Again, I can hospitalize players... it is part of the game and there should be no restrictions on who and when I choose to use this rule.

If I start hitting noobs and higher level players decide to put me in check - hey that is all fair. What is Pun wanted to keep me in the hospital all day for no reason other than my charming good looks? Is that breaking Spirit of the Game? NO IT IS NOT! Would it suck for me? Yes! But, I would try and work it out with him... as he is technically not doing anything wrong.

I think it's the fact that these new players probably aren't used to the game yet, and after deciding this game might be fun, they suddenly get hit- and can't do anything for 3/4 hours?

Why would Zen NOT want to help them out? Very few admins would, the fact she chose to is totally her prerogative. What's different between her stimming out some newbies and gangmates sending stims to people in hospital? All of AL is her gang, so to speak, so if she wants to stim someone out, fair play.

Thing is, if she started intervening in gang wars with experienced players, then obviously it's wrong. Here, she was just helping out a couple of new, inexperienced players that had the misfortune to be caught in the crossfire of high powered players, through no fault of her own. Her stimming these newbies out affected the powerplay at the top not at all, and I can't see a problem with that.

Simple. Implement a restriction that only lets you attack people 5 level above and 5 level below your curreent level. That would make every player chances more equal at play.
