If every new player that joins the game (i.e potential donators),gets hospitalized by a player with a grudge over something it is not in either her interest or the community.
One player with a chip on his shoulder taking out every new player to sign up will not make the game bigger or better.It was a challenge to the admins of which they needed to take whatever action was needed and perhaps even mail the new player to say,this dont normally happen its just some guy is having a bad day.
Whats next? Wook,Loki myself pun we all donate hard and play hard.So should we all hosp every new player that joins up and "Blackmail" the admins into changing codes or whatever so that as long as our pantheon slot shows we have better battle stats than another player we will always win regardless?
No.The actions of wook were childish.Unfortunately it has become an all to familiar thing of late.Hosp the new players to "Get at" the admins.Its tantermount to a challenge of which zen decided to use her abilities as game creater to stim the guys out.That her choice and she is looking after her business interests.I will say this though.I wouldnt carry on doing it for too long because Blackmail and threats will only have one outcome and it wont be the player that wins.
I hope it all calms down and that there is another way to settle problems before the game creator uses her powers alot harsher.
Hold down the fort there Biff. You are touching a lot of things...
1. Do I know why Zen got them out? Yes, because she is concerned about making money - not my f'ing problem and not one rule was broken. All she is doing is showing that money is the most important thing as new players wouldn't want to play the game that the two Admins created if they were always in the Hosp. If that is the case than they need to code something. It is not fair to hold us to some ethical code in a game of criminals.
If they care about money and the impact that it could have on their pocket book - then create code... don't let us have the option to hit those low level players. Don't punish us for technically not doing anything wrong.
2. There is nothing wrong with a player having a chip on their shoulder. Again this is a game of crime and if you put hours and thousands of dollars into a game... well... you get the point.
3. The admins should probably try to help out new players and code should be thought if that is where they are heading. Don't use God powers to their own agenda. Is they want to send stims to noobs, fine send stims...
4. Being able to hospitalize people is what makes this game fun and interesting. You have to be careful what you say and what you do. Without the hospital this game would become stupid and pointless. It is the ability to put people into the hospital which makes it interesting.
5. If the game creator continues to interfere when no rule was broken - then I believe they will start running the risk of loosing people to other games. If they want to start plucking people out of the hospital for no other reason than they didn't appreciate that person - well then they are playing favorites.
The creators step in too often in this game. People just need to play the game and allow them to code and not deal with the drama. When I play WoW I don't go and complain to Blizzard when some dude romps me. I take it to the chin and move on. Why is that everyone feels the need to complain to the Admin and try to get them to do something?
Yes, I have asked them some questions about loosing fights... I just didn't understand how it was possible, but it is... I didn't ask them to pull me out of the hosp or anything.
