crime payouts need revamped? LONG POST
Post: #1
well I was really bored this morning so I decided to do some math. Do the crimes need revamped? I'll voice my opinion at the end as it really seems fairly justified with how the current payouts are now. THIS IS A POST FOR IF YOU ARE REALLY BORED LOL. These stats come from a very active lvl 15 that is on the top 50 criminals list normally 7 days/week.

For February: (mind you I rarely fail on all 3 of these crimes)

Steal an old clunker 78 $14,628
Steal a car 453 $117,783
Steal a classic car 282 $105,392

doing some math:

Steal an old clunker $187.54/attempt
Steal a car $260.01/attempt
Steal a classic car $373.73/attempt

breaking it down more:

Steal an old clunker $20.84/AP spent
Steal a car $21.67/AP spent
Steal a classic car $23.36/AP spent

So the math does prove you do gain a bit more per AP spent on higher crimes. But how substantial is this?

I'm in the top 25 most active criminals on the top 50 list most of the days by only doing the classics (lvl 15 with 33 AP). So the following numbers theoretically are HIGHER than the average player at lvl 15.

I average 11,890 AP spent in the average 30 day month. For simplification purposes I'll assume a 360 day year (Any bankers or accountants in here should recognize this assumption).

Doing more math:

Steal an old clunker $2,973,451.20 annual income
Steal a car $3,091,875.60 annual income
Steal a classic car $3,333,004.80 annual income

Numbers look good right? The math speaks for itself right?

(Using clunkers as the base income)
Steal an old clunker -
Steal a car + $118,424.40 annual income
Steal a classic car + $359,553.60 annual income

So is this a significant difference worth the extra AP spent/increased chance of jail and jail time? Will let you all decide Razz

I honestly find $359,000 irrelevant because I can make that in roughly a little over a month. I want a few more dollars from my clients! lol (and remember these differences are greater than the avg player my lvl doing the same crimes at the same success rate)

Just something to give you guys to read if you're bored lol

Actually makes sense.

Now, some are gonna tell you to raise your stats and change crimes.

They are most likely right.

that wasn't so much the point as to whether or not people believe the increase in difficulty of crimes is worth the increased reward. I'll be doing different crimes in about a week, but it'll take another month to get data on the amount made per AP spent.

I'm not saying it's bad. And I could be an unlucky person with %'s. If it's off at all I'd say tweaking it a few percentage points would make it better.

Well, see, that's how I see it.

It wont be tweaked cause the whole point is to realize, like you just did, that there ain't much a difference between those.

So, at this point, the AL users is like: "Omgbbq! What should I do?"

And then, looks down there and says, hum, I'll try luxury cars, let's work on dexterity for a bit.

Farter down the road, there is what you're looking for.

You are absolutely right, but It's made to be like this.

I still average between $800 and $900 for the complex meth with an occasional $1000+ payout. I have tried 5 insurance frauds: 3 failures, 2 successes with between $1200 and $1300 both times. Biggrin Biggrin

What stats and character lvl should we aim to get to do those kind of crimes succesfully?
