I used to allow access to the development server to test code out before it went live. This wasn't to give anyone an advantage; it was to see if there were any bugs. It's a standard game programming protocol intended to eliminate exploits and bugs before going live.
No one has had access to this server other than myself and Err since the first quarter of 2007. Someone complained about it being unfair to give the privilege to test out code that did not work correctly to others, so I removed access to it.
I apologize if you think this was unfair. It was done so things would work correctly on the live server. |
