I'm kinda curious...

Where does it say that donation money goes into coding and making the game better?

And where does it say it doesn't?

Don't make an argument with nothing.

Yeah..........I'm asking where it is. Not saying 'Oh, it doesn't say that anywhere, which means she's doing her job.' Which I am saying, now, since I still can't find where it says 'Donation money will be used to renovate/upgrade gameplay for all users.'

Lets not be an ass unless you want to be responded to like one, please. Was asking a simple question.

"Awakened Lands is in constant development, with constant additions to the game. But besides our future additions, our goal is to create a fun game that just plain works. This means putting an emphasis on fixing game bugs, unbalanced game mechanics, and other nonsense that makes the game not function as intended."

maybe we should edit that a bit, or maybe it should have been edited some time ago...

Condom is the glass slipper of our generation. You slip one on when you meet a stranger. You dance all night... then you throw it away. The condom, I mean, not the stranger.

Allright then Tommi.

I think, AL being an online world, wich is ongoing on an infinite timeline and itself following real-life time structure, that there is no planned end to AL, or that there were not when it was created.

Therefor, being a "business" at the same time, the goal of the owners should be to try and make money and/or have fun while running it. Please note the use of the word running. Indeed, it is at this point enough to make money and/or have some fun.

However, after sometime, just like any product in our society of entertainment and fast services, one product can easily be left alone while another wins the consumer over for any kind of reason. This usually motivates owners to do something to increase there customer base/make them pay for more. Often, it's call novelty, improvements, add-ons, tweaks, rewards, and so on.

These cost time, and time is money.

No one really cares what they do with the donation money.
But it's there game, so somehow, the money sent to them impacts there game, as it impacts them.

But where's it say that money's going to upgrades?

I didn't want a rant. I wanted an answer. An answer that's failed to show it's head. Something you're not helping to do.

I see a place where it hints towards money for maintenance isn't refunded, so we can assume that the game is still up because funds are being put to it...But I'm still not finding where money goes to upgrades.

That's all I'm wanting. I might be wrong and it's out there somewhere. Just can't find it myself.

Officially, I can't find anywhere that states it does.

But, somehow, to me at least, it feels like it should have an impact.

My last 2 cents.

You are instigating an argument Tommi. There are more tactful ways to make points.

Same here...I'm not saying that the money put into this game shouldn't go to upgrades, but it's not there. It's just not an obligation...

Can anyone else look for it?
