It's my money that I earned and have the right to spend as I wish. Hence that's why I get sent a very nice check after all my school fees are taken care of by the University.

Another Presidential Scholar spends his check on alcohol instead of a game. Probably the smarter choice, but something I'm guessing the University wouldn't approve of either. It's stated in the contract we signed that we have the right to spend it as we wish (not verbatim of course), after the university takes care of their end of it.

All we have to do is maintain a 3.75 or higher GPA, never receive below a 3.5 GPA for a semester, and cannot get anything lower than a B- in any class all of our college years.
