I wouldn't mind a fee involved in changing your name, if it's that important to the player. Maybe block name changes during non-holidays or something, and the user pays "X" to change their name. And maybe holidays would be free of charge. I don't know, but it's pathetic seeing some of the name changes lately. Or if you abuse it once, you can never change your name again.
I'm agreeable to that its not fair everyone gets busted for a few twits
If people behave then I'll look at lifting the restriction a bit.

i can see it being a problem if it's slowing down the game (don't know bout that)
but being able to razz someone who can keep you in the hospital all day is fun, and it also aids in avoiding detection.

I'm with Cheetah. I've changed my name a million times, more than any other 499er.
I've never changed it to something mean toward anyone, and I feel gyp'd that I can only change it once per 24 hr period.
