Didn't read the rest of the thread, but lets say a new person(30 days in) has a 8 ounce glass while you(Many more days in) have a German beer mug. A lady comes to fill your glasses with a beer pitcher. She easily fills the younger person's glass since it's smaller, but doesn't completely fill your glass since it's so big.

Kind of the idea, I believe. You've got a bigger glass, so it'll take more to fill it up.

that is a very good and clear way of stating it. i have never heard you say anything else so relative and logical before.

perhaps some of you need to use B/P every now and then, and then you may understand my confusion. apparently, im the only one that has ever used it.

im trying to figure out if Tommi just blew my mind, or if this needs more expalnation.

i would love to see some numbers as to how the % falls after each fight. particuarly the difference from somone with 800 days loyality in comparison with someone with 50 or 100 days.

then leave your gang and come back.... then you will know.

Think of it this way Connie (this is overly simplified and for example only)...

One use of your gang backup/protection always provides you with 10 "points". Regardless of who you are, it's always 10.

Now newb can have 5 points max. So one use gives him 5 points, and the other 5 are wasted. He is displayed as 100%.

You however can have 20 points max. So one use gives you 50% of your max. You can use it again to get 100%.

Gang Protection is assigned to players by a member with Gang Point Permissions in the gang. Protecting a gang member temporarily improves their ability to fend off incoming attacks. This bonus lasts as long as the gang member is in the gang or they are attacked enough times for it to be depleted.
