Setting Level limit on shield

True,

If I start to play now, this would be my ideal build for new level 10 melee player.

Str - 18
Dex - 12
Res - 0
Acc - 5

Get the long blade, the AA303 vest, and the 301 belt.

With this setup, you can resist more than a B4C armor (without belt). Maybe even comparable to a TiB2 armor (without belt)

You would just use that belt all the way to level 30. Just keep working on strength to maximize the damage. Once you are at level 30, then upgrade to a dynamite trench coat and get the 400 series belt.

that blue goes nicely with the neon green in ur siggy... on the other hand the color on the previous page doesnt hurt the eyes... and is a more neutral color.

Using your Riot Axe you hit for 4724 points of damage. XXX resists 102 for a total of 4622 damage.

you really think a level 10 player with 0 res, a AA303 Vest and 301 belt will resist equivalent of TiB2?!

and here I am plugging away at Res to equip that damn thing.

@ Zeon: resistance cannot be 0. no stat can be 0.

Anyway, i've always agreed with level requirement on items, so i agree with your idea

Zeon I understand where you are coming at, how about not making it a straight up level requirement but make the 101 available in indy, the 102 in rural, the 201 in midlan, and the 301 in underground. Along with 20 res to use the 201, and 25 res to use the 301.

with your set up above have you done the math to include endurance in there also....you know that borg str and end also affect possible max enc rate.....im too lazy to do the math, but is 18 str enough to carry that much stuff....i know fully loaded without stims/nimbus i have an enc rate of .42 and my str is 60

I'm glad this topic came about. At least now I know a belt is not a disappointment, since normally all I get mailed is the belts need to be stronger.

Perhaps adding stat reqs for it and future belts will be needed now.
