People are allowed to make their own judgements, just as you've deemed capital punishment wrong with your "hate is hate" logic.

It just happens that the judgement here that he was over the line is backed by a majority, or at least by those who have spoken.

OMG!!!!!!!!! So much drama over a nickel and dime subject. I have relatives that were affected by WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Some of them were injured, some killed, and some still MIA. I really hate to say I agree with Buuddha or anyone in Muthas (just because I have been farmed by them, LOL) but I have to agree that people should have a right to change their personal name or gang name to whatever they want as long as they are not trying to direct it at a specific person or gang. Sure, I have only been on quickly the last few days to train, career, and skill but SHEESH!!!!!!! lighten up on insignificant issues in game like a name change.

I guess we will now have people saying they do not like Ellen Degeneras because of being a lesbian and they want that name changed too.

It's true what you say, but you're ignoring the past actions of this guy. This is a guy that said he wanted to rape a female player, and after "apologizing," declared that he was only joking about the apology. It is his intent to direct at someone, even if in his attempt he is indirectly doing so.

But saying that SS is directed at somebody is kind of stretching it. Now, if the name/description said SS against Val or SVs or JBs or any other gang or person then I would say it is directed specifically. Otherwise, I say let the children name themselves what they want.

Although, Romper Room or Barney's Friends might be more of an appropriate name for them. lol

So you'd be cool with me starting a gang called 'death to jews, non-whites, and disabled people'.

Because that is what that name represents. I know that everyone else is so cool that nothing offends them and everything on the internet or in a game is hilarious, but that doesn't mean some aren't offended.
