I have read everyones responses and you are either offended or not. There are a lot of players here who are older and the majorty of us are offended. A lot of us have direct and indirect knowledge of the horrific events which were carried out by the fanactical SS Nazis. The SS Waffen name in itself brings back imagery and stories of those who died and those who survived.

For those who deem the name inoffensive the Holocost is a distant memory that was brought up in history class or occasionally viewed on the history channel.

Everyone has their own viewpoint and I respect everyones right to voice their opionion. However, choosing a name to elicit a response is immature and juvenile. If you want to elict a response start hosping all the noobs and we can give you attention without offended everyone.

I am a younger member of the community and this offends me. I have no living relatives that remember that time or at least they don't tell me about it, if they do remember.
