For an attack the weapon that deals the most potential damage is selected, right? so are skiils included to this thing?

i have heard this to but do not believe it everytime i have an axe equipped i normally lose with out it equipped i win by a nice margin vs the same people

It seems awfully random at times.

I've always been more concerned with the poor scaling of xp to level... Exp needed increases exponentially while exp recieved from similar levelled opponents almost never seems to change... (and when it does change, it is in no discernable pattern)
