It's not acceptable;

also i think hits that are made after 4 hours since the player was last active have(should have) no effect into that equation you're talking about

Sounds pretty close to the "newb protection" added in the game Kings of Chaos. Of course, as soon as it was figured out people found ways to take advantage of it in ways that made the game irritating for many others. In essence, it punished the stronger players for putting in more commitment into the game.

It was a good try by the admins, but it was fatally flawed and made a lot of mid-higher levels actually quit the game when it was designed to keep weaker players in the game. Not only did the weaker players still leave, but they lost bigger players and experienced players found ways to exploit the system. End Result: Bad Move.

I disagree with any form of "protection." If you don't want to be hospitalized constantly, then keep quiet, keep your members in line, and then when you get up there in the ranks is when you can do things your way. I'm not going to have all the people much stronger than me be punished because they've put more time into the game.

Yep, a very very good post. Keep quite means not having opinions and posting them on a forum?; because you are hospitalized for having those too

i agree with iceman, and alinutza there's a difference in having opinions, and being downright rude and or insulting to certain players. plenty of people post opinions that I disagree with, and I could care less. it's when people start talking trash and sticking their noses in stuff that doesn't involve them that they get in trouble.

yes i just said sticking there noses in stuff that doesn't involve them, and yes it is a public forum, but sometime's it's best to just steer clear of topics focused between 2 people, 2 gangs, or whatever.

Alll disputes arise from differences in opinions. Be smart about it is what I'm saying. I have a few higher lvls added to my enemy list, and even if I disagree with them, it would be foolish of me to openly voice that in a way that could bring retaliation against myself or my gang mates. Twisting off DirkDanja's post, I am the leader of my gang, and thus, I have the responsibility to not only look out for my best interests, but for the best interests of everyone associated with me (which ultimately supersedes my best interests). Even if/when I become more powerful than they are, I have the responsibility to protect my members, so even then I cannot 'run my mouth.'

You can argue a point in a civil way and not receive retaliation, or if you do, you can normally find someone to aid you in striking back then. But when you bring in passive threats (or openly say them) or use profanity, or use any other type of derogatory statements, do not place the blame on anybody but yourself. Even I find that if someone more powerful is disrespectful toward me first, if I'm respectful back, instead of losing my temper, they will normally calm and a solution other than constant hospitalizations will result.

If it's between two people it shouldn't end up on the forums. If they don't want others sticking their noses in it, don't post it. I can kind of see with 2 gangs as there are more people involved, but still, it is a risk taken when posting on a community forum.
