Missed that last post of yours when I read the first time.
agamemnon Wrote:But, what I believe is happening here is that the super donators are advancing waaayyy beyond the non-donators and it is becoming more difficult for the non-donators to keep up.
It is not suppose to be equal between donators and non, we give money for that exact reason. Take that away from us and we will stop giving money and the site will die due to a lack of funds in no time.

Quote:Ideally, if we had several hundred players fairly tightly packed between, say, level 25 and 45 with a healthy spectrum of every level (especially top levels) dispersed amongst several gangs or gang families, it would be more competitive.
It will, in a while, these kind of games/sites didn't build in 1 day. There is already ~3X more players above lvl 20 then when I was 20.

Quote:But, I agree that it would get frustrating (thanks abysmal) when someone spends the same amount of hours in the game flies by you because he donated $200.00 in the past two months and you only donated $10.00 or could not afford to donate at all.
I got past 200$ months and months ago and I'm like 8th if not further for the total in donations. See why some people are faster or further than others now? You can't do jack about that, some people have money, others have none while a few have a ton of it.
Quote: But, I agree that sometimes the benefits from donating allow for too great of a chasm between the super-donators and minimal- or non-donators.
Maybe you'd prefer a game like Diablo 2 where the makers didn't give people the opportunity to go faster than average? and where [at least] 25% of the players found the bugs and weaknesses in the game and hacked it and now it's right behind casinos for the "most people that went bankrupt because of" list?
in that game, you can be lvl 99 in 3 days and be competitive with those who's been playing for 5 years if you can spare 500$. Want that? Me neither. This game is well built but every1 has to accept the fact that donators give money for 1 and only 1 reason, to be better and stronger than those who can't.

Hey Thor

I think you are in a pretty good position to make a difference for yourself :-)Really mec, really really sure.

I personally don't have 200 $ to give monthly. Barely 40-50$...but I am sure u know that some of your gang masters have that opportunity and are doing it...
Good for them...keeps the game going!

In any case the discussion should be more concentrated why nondonors get 200 pts while donors get you 2000...I think there is the big big problem. I explained Zen that some ppl just don't have the opportunity! But that doesn't mean that they need to be shutoff...

You hit on something there speedy.....I think that the level bonus should be increased...Not simply the fact that some ref registered, but maybe have the ref bonus tied to the persons activity/level/days old ratio....That would be very nice. Right now I personally think the level bonus at 4 and 8? are way too low..imho

All I've heard is whine and complain about Non-Donator to Donator. Honestly, this is EXACTLY what it is, complaining. I can give 2 PRIME examples of people that do not donate yet are still able to "hang" to a certain exent with donators.

1. Rafal (sorry to use you man) He does not donate to the game but uses his crime money to buy credits. Anyone looked at what level he is?

2. LtTort. This guy has not donated anything whatsoever. I assisted him with his very first amount of credits and since then he, by himself, has maintained donator status, boosted endurance for weapons and armor. All from...........Once again crimes.

My point is that you don't HAVE to donate to be one of the "higher ups", It is more of how you use your "resources" to build your character (that and time and patience)

OK, will get off the soap box now.

2 guys ...vs a plethora of wanna bes in the game.

right eagle...so those 2 guys are the best example WHY this game shouldn't reward the refferals which brought these guys to the game. Rather then give them ahhh more then 200 pts when they reach lvl 5 :-)

I wanna know how they get so much crime money and train at the same time and be on top without donating. U should publish the manual on this one chief...

whatever...

days old: 292 and 290

everyone knows that EVENTUALLY non-donators will somehow be able to put up a fight with donators at some point, because the donators will slow down and activity will bring it up (or hopefully...right???) but the point was not that donators are too strong, they are getting too strong too fast

pullo is like half their age and is #1. thats kinda ridiculous -.-

I would disagree...

Pullo is #1 because not only he donated but he also plays day and night out (and there are another 6-10 ppl in that category). His motivation was to become #1, now I guess his motivation is to stay #1.

I wanna see a nondonor being so motivated by things inside and outside his realm.
