I so know this is a stupid question, but I just have to know. Why do I need to know how many donator days anyone else has?

And for the record I still see the same icon it's always been.

If you still see the same icon, it's most likely you need to clear our your browser's cache. As for the "knowing other people's donator days"... well that's been around since the game began.
