I do not mind it if I get hit. I only get disgruntled when others in the big gangs decide to farm us. That is what really bites. It really sucks when you are only like 38 or 39 points from an upgrade and then get farmed and now have 130+ to go. BLAHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Makes the newest member wonder if they will ever see the gang advance or not.



Well, I see now that the x pats are appearing to be the reincarnation of the 499ers. Any previous members from the 499ers there I wonder? Of course declaring on a gang with only one member online is not sufficient for them. Why not farm them for more GPs, huh? I guess for them I will say it is to be expected. However, the larger gangs are showing more honor though. Straight wars and confident in their warring abilities where they do not need to farm.

I may not be amongst the oldest here, but I'm getting tired of what I read on that subject.

We all have weapons in that game, made to kill. If individually or in a gang, there are decisions taken to kill / annihilate the ennemy (alone or in group) it is war. That is it.

How many times do you think people fight there match in real life? ALmost never! They always hit on a weaker opponent, cause vctory is the key. SOmetimes, some fight back is seen, and that just shows how dedicated the ennemy is, and from there much is borned.

For all the active lower level players (even tough i am far from being anything dangerous myself) I suggest to fight back. If you can't make it there, just make it elsewhere. Apply. Show your might, get good stats, and people will give you a chance to the next step of your AL life at some point. We all had some kind of move like that. You can search for the ''"wich gang you've been in" thread. Tons of examples.

One thing tough, advertising in that thread, here, is really weak, in my opinion. As part of a community, throwing shit at each other is allright, threats, and so on, but advertising is just stupid. Politically, strategically, and has no honor.

dirk, how about the next time valhalla, sv, dm, diss, etc decide to do another 3day war you join one of the gangs (not valhala) and see what its like to be a low level player in a battle of highs. it sucks. im talking about 3 days straight in the hosp, the only way to get a hit in is to stim out and hit what you can before someone notices your out. spending 15 mins in the hosp is waaaaaaaay better than 3days.

A. for one im NOT whining or posting because i get hit by larger gangs
B. i do fight back regardless of the odds im facing
C. no im not gonna poke my nose into the affair's of big gangs

im may be crazy but im not stoopid of course im sure 3 days in the hospital sucks and me for one wouldnt even login during said war only maybe once a day to see if its still going on

i enjoy whatever playing time i do have and if im in the hospital all day everyday i find no joy in that or reason to even be online if thats the case i'd miss three days of development :roll:

Sorry, I promised myself I wouldn't post again but had to on this.

If being in hospital for 3 days makes you not want to play, or think it's unfair, find a different game. When we were set upon by the Elders time and time again, we'd spend 3 days+ in hospital and lose our gang (with hundreds of thousands of cash spent in upgrades) then rebuild our gang and have the same thing. We stimmed out and fought as best we could, which is what you do in a war. If you're grossly overpowered, you have to fight a stim war. I actually found our last war with the Elders the most fun time I've had here, if I was out of hospital in fair for a second then I'd be hospitalized. So I made an art out of attacking dead on the tic where I went above fair, or using nimbus bars to achieve the same thing, and annoyed the hell out of Chris and Sarge. And taunted them about it. Ask NT where that's concerned, he did it even more than I did, and we both spent 99% of a few weeks in hospital.

In doing so, AL became what it's meant to be- fun, with people warring and killing each other.

i was mainly telling dickdastardly that he gets off easy being a small gang vs large gang.



off topic: does level have anything to do with hosp time? cus i got a lot of 200-300min hosps but my victims (lvl11-15) mainly got 50-100mins? did i just have bad

yea, I think so. Hospitalisation time is (roughly) based on level- there's a lot of deviation, so a lv 10 won't always get a shorter time than a 12, but on average lower levels get lower time.

Yeah, it sucks, but get used to it. I came to the forums when I was a wee little lvl 8 making the same complaint when I had a 3 man gang. I said when I got to be a higher lvl I'd not change my viewpoint. That remains, still a low lvl at 20, and just a moderately sized gang at 10, but I always try to fight nearly equal strength gangs (if their members aren't online of course, that's not my problem).

However, it's a game. It does no harm if a bigger gang wipes you out in 10 minutes (or 1), it just means your hideout refreshes sooner, and you get to war sooner! So you should encourage big gangs hitting you for shorter wars. Get those refresh upgrades way up, and it'll be like you were never attacked when you log in (or get the more important upgrades, whatever you choose).

If you want to make them stop hitting you, I say go all out. Get a huge hideout defense. And get lvl 8 in construction. Then save up 3000 cp. Load on stims, and when they hit you and you are low on hideout points, use cp and refresh your hideout completely. Then do it again, and again. Sure you just screwed over your account perhaps by losing 12000 pts into strength, but that should make them go away eh?

Ok I'm not a weak low level player, nor am I a high super power, however in the war that you all want to bring up and that the lowers got the short end of the stick on it.......

That's all within a few days, some of them were within minutes of each other as I'd stim/nimbus and be right back in. So please before you decided to post whinning about a larger gang doing battle with a smaller gang you might want to think about what really goes on in those Epic battles.

Note some fightes were taken out (over powers, regular gang battles) P.S. I had a balst in those wars because I felt that every time I stimmed out and those highers hit me, it was one less hit they had on someone else
