A member of a gang should
A) Be willing to sacrifice. Whether thats game time, cash, energy or ap's
B) Be willing to defend your gang
C) Be giving as well as recieving. Whether thats through loans, stims, or simple advice.
D) Have a good relationship with all in the gang.
E) Loyalty.

Thats a good start.

Heres my idea of the perfect gang.

A) You must burn the weed
B) You must buy it from me
