Gang Combat Rating is a replacement of the old gang combat bonus. This number is added to your combat effectiveness when performing an individual player v. player attack. It has no effect on war capability.
its not that big of a boost..your better off not relying on it to help you

yes the gcb helps....especially in close fights....there are stipulations or prerequisites for it to "kick in" though and if zen wants to post em she can....
in close fights with an opponent that has less of one or none at all and you have a nice little gcb with good gang loyalty, yes you can see a difference......every little bit helps sometimes

While I am unsure of the GCB's of both Val and SV, I can comfortably say that Dissidence is most likely the 3rd highest, active GCB in the game...

it safe to say that the top 3 gcb's are the top 3 in gang war points, in that order.
