once you get 5, it's called a 5 card charlie if memory serves. You beat anything but a 21.

If someone attacks you mid game, you'd get pretty miffed off if you lost your game/bet.

This needs addressing. If its a multiple turn game as the poker / blackjack is suggested then once you bet / gamble, get a hand then go to finish it in the second or third round if you are attacked or sent to jail then lose your bet...

Maybe the casino etc would have to have a log so if that happens you go back you return to the same spot where you left off or ?

A gambling district would do it.

Upfront payment to enter the district, wich becomes your base gambling money.

No crimes, no fight, no wars, no gang support, no transfers from or to friends.

Inactive 10 mins and more get thrown out to downtown.

8:50 pm BlackHand attacked you and lost.

"How can you do that, you're in the hospital for 45 minutes!" or "How can you do that, you're in jail for 10 minutes!"

If someone attacks you mid game, you'd get pretty miffed off if you lost your game/bet.

So it either needs to be some version that ends in one spin, something that's accessible in the hospital, jail and normal, or something completely removed from the regular mechanics of the game.

I'm all for the idea, and I think a video poker could be made that either is accessible in all three areas (normal, jail and hospital), or something that retains your state until you come back. Just pointing out some of the issues that may come up.

In real life, if you get attacked in the casino or the cops show up, the casino won't let you finish your hand in the hospital or jail. When you play, you take a risk.
