I thought it (crime drop rates) happened immediately after you leveled up...

But I was severely smacked in the p-p for bringing it up.

Happens to me after I level.

What was brought up before was that, upon hard lvling (when really close), fight losses that usually were wins occurence rate rised drastically.

I'm adding to it

that once your are close to a stat lvling,

your failure rate on crimes goes through the roof

um, I don't see that happening here.

It just, these 2 days the crime is bad. My success % drop quite a bit yesterday

And my success rate is all over the place the last three days. 80.0%, 69.3% and 89.3%, though the day before yesterday (69.3%) I did throw in a handful of Insurance Frauds for the heck of it, none of which succeded)

I swear I see this happening right after I level too. I know, I know, confirmation bias and all that. I just know the last two times I've leveled my Complex Meth Lab percentage has dropped from mid-to-high 70s, down to mid-to-low 60s for the first couple of days after I leveled.

I know there's no code specifically to cause this to happen, the only way it would be possible is if crime success rate was based off of XP instead of level. Since XP resets to 0 every time you level. That's the only reasonable explanation I can come up with for it.

I'm actually only a couple hundred dev points from DEX leveling and haven't noticed a drop off in crime success rate, but I'll keep an eye on it as I get closer.
