Now that shielding has reached some decent possibility.

I was wondering, in your opinion, do you think replacing armor for shielding
(aka wearing just the shield and not the body armor) is something that would be equivalent?

Goal, of course, is to keep the encumbrance rate as low as possible.

Any test ever run on that?

I already tought that SV had most likely ran this test in the past. My guess is that the shield sucks without the armor.

Am I guessing in the right way? I am not asking for much more details than that.

friend of mine resd close to 800 with just a 301 and no armor

Does armor do anything, I lent a friend my sic armor today, and have been attacking all my usual targets. I have not noticed any difference in my results. Seems like i might as well sell the sic and upgrade to a 301.

Armor does not have any upkeep while shielding do.

Plus, u do resist a bit more with the armor on.

I would say 90% plus of what i resist in a fight is shield, with maybe 10% coming from my armor. I think i'll keep my sic, but i don't think i'll bother upgrading it, just my shield.

50% on armor and 50% on shield for me.
