If you're the only one who can get their hands on it, you'd want it to be a reasonable price. Double+ Base Price is NOT reasonable by anyone's standards, no matter if there is a lone soul that can get there or two or 5 or 10.
I used to go and buy younger folks Dyneema Trench coats, when I could reach them, for $20,000 mark-up, and they were more than happy to pay that much for something they couldn't get their hands on. The Dyneema Trench coat isn't as expensive as TiB<sp?> armor, but it still goes on the same principles.
The only difference was the scale of it. That was a highly expensive weapon in the first place..Tacking on $300,000 to it might have brought in some customers, and 3-5 people buying that could of netted Rafal $900,000 - $1,500,000 profit, and that's only for the ARMOR. |
