I know this has been mentioned before, but for the most part, AL has turned into a donator's game. Donators can simply buy their stats and become unstoppable while non-donators have to do it the hard way.

Of course donating helps, why wouldn't it? I still wouldn't be where I am today without being in front of the computer 10-12 hours per day for the last 10 months.

that's the best strategy...also stay away from the forums as much as possible, because they can keep you away from the actual game(hospitlizations and so on).
