This has been posted awhile back By Random Jacker and Torch.

Here is the formula.

On every recursion, you add (10k+ the previous upgrade cost) to the final cost of the previous slot.

For example to calculate the cost for the fifth slot.
(10k + 20k) + 20k = 50k

6th slot would be
(10k + 30k) + 50k = 90k

7th Slot would be
(10k + 40k) + 90k = 140k

Use that formula to calcuate slot cost for future use.
