What do you guys think about someone having a pawn shop of sorts. For example instead of loaning money right out to someone, just get them to pawn a weapon and loan them less than what the weapon is worth..

It'd be a good idea if it was properlly organised. Would cause a lot of confusion and arguments unless it was coded into the actual game. Can't see what's wrong with giving it a go if you feel it would be a good idea though.

So we could sell our weapons to you, for more than the trade in value, but less than what we bought it for. I think you would need your own forum, like the sportsbook has to do it properly. That way you could list what weapons you have for sale at what price and what weapons the pawn shop is looking for.

Well I assume the item just serves as collateral for a period of time. If the owner can't pay up, the pawn shop operator sells the item for whatever they want and keeps the money. Unless someone really wants to operate an item brokerage.

Not if there aren't any buyers at that time. Or the market is flooded with under valued items.

It took me about 3 weeks to sell my T-250, by the end of it I was ready to sell it for anything.
