just wondering.how do you do referals? have a friend that would love this game but i'd like to get credit for the referal.just curious! thanx!!

From my conversations with Zen. Right now there isn't really a system in place. I know its at the top of thier list and that alot of though has already been put into it, they are just working out the specifics of it right now. From what I have heard it sounds 10x better than others I have encountered. Ill let Zen go into the details though.

Ya I am totally interested in a referral program here. A nice little incentive to bring in new players in droves. I know the game is new and growing slowly, but this place is already 10x better than the likes of Metrowars. The fact that Zen and his group of developers keep us updated via the newspaper is awesome, but I've personally mentioned a few bugs and suggestions and they have quickly put fixes in place or implemented a new suggestion.

Heck, implementing this forum was done well, so if Zen mentioned a referral program that was better than Metrowars, I can only imagine how awesome it will be. Keep up the good work Zen!

Glad everyone is enjoying the game.

We definitely have a referral system in the works and like Tobith said, it is one of our top priorities. I don't want to go into too much detail since it may change, but currently we are thinking about giving players credits for referring players that reach a certain level and/or donate. Our goal is to give players a way to benefit from referrals without allowing cheaters to take advantage of the system. When we know more we'll let everyone know.

Like Err stated, the referral program is our next project (that is, after bug fixes). As you all know, we currently do not have a tracking system in place to give credit for the players who help promote our community. This however will change soon.

We are looking into a couple of different ways to help you all out. As of right now, it looks like there will be a couple of options everyone will have, and a way for everyone to actually track the progress of their referrals passively by looking at their referral tracking page.

The system will not be as simplistic as other games similar to Awakened Lands though. Players referred will need to acheive certain things for you to get credit. The more often the referred players do certain things, the more often you will get rewarded. So the more active the players you refer become, the greater your rewards will be.

Hopefully this sheds some light on what is to come.

Did you use your referral link? If so you should be credited with the referral, but you will not see a payoff initially. They have to be active to an extent......here is a link to a previous post by zen which explains the referral system in great detail......

Joseph1234 was deleted because that was you strqaz. As you can see you can't just make other accounts and get referral points. They need to be played, which defeats the purpose.
