Also, I'd go out on a limb and say that, once you get past 50ish in stats, they matter a lot less. I lose to people with stats far below mine.

even by limiting it to battle stats, it's a bit difficult to gauge how the stats are dispersed from player to player. imo, it pays to really beef up your primary stat over any other.
