The game will continue as long as it makes a profit(unless of coarse humanity ends, then it would likely shut down). It's dropped in popularity and population since err left, but it hasn't been dramatic enough to shut the game down. The game's been "dying" for over a year now, and I'm sure it will continue dying for years to come.
