there are two bonuses diff people but the top one left me with <100 hp. second one left me with about 300 hp but gave a bigger bonus

this, appears that when total damage received exceeds your total hit points (or maybe how many hp you started the fight with), you get the bonus

or even comes close because I don't even use my belt and get the bonus if we go enough rounds still might have a bit of health. Will have to start paying more attention now that I will be attacking.

I think it happens most for me when I attack with a little above 50% health against somebody I know can do some damage but not enough to put me down
