That is an idea. Have a on/off switch to your possible participation in the gang attacks. If you wanna join in on some, turn it on, if you don't, turn it off.

+1. Just a little personal checkbox in the gang summary, with the attacker having gang permission (like declare) and being able to pick from the list of people who ticked fight.
