When I beat people with a t-450 that I couldn't beat with that cestus, despite having 5 skills in SBM 0 in shottie, told ya something about it.... although Zen did buff the crap out of the weapon trying to give it parity with the other weapons.... even after she made it "OP".... I still ended up going shotty.
For me... I would have completely passed on shotty because it has the same deficiencies in principle as SBM.... would have gone LBM or Axe.... probably axe though.
