You'll notice that I didn't say 100 points is equivalent to 3700 dev points, but 3700 credits worth of dev points in endurance. I have my equation fit pretty well for all the data given to me by players with low endurance up to about mid 20s. Independent variables are only energy, happiness and endurance so I'm sure the actual equation is a little more complicated.
From what I've seen though it is linear with energy spent.
I can tell you that that's untrue. Next time you have full ep, do a train of like 5 or 6. It's well known that you get more training each refresh (if you can get the happi refresh) than clumping trains.
doing the preceding netted me 7.5% more dev points per EP than my best full train.
next time you do that, continue down to where your happiness usually is when you do a full train and you'll notice a big difference. if you use a phone it shows your % happ left i'm pretty sure the formula has something to do with what % of your total happ you have with a base set of numbers for every 100 happ step
