You'll notice that I didn't say 100 points is equivalent to 3700 dev points, but 3700
credits worth of dev points in endurance. I have my equation fit pretty well for all the data given to me by players with low endurance up to about mid 20s. Independent variables are only energy, happiness and endurance so I'm sure the actual equation is a little more complicated.
From what I've seen though it is linear with energy spent.
