strange.. i just got a lvl 20 to attack me, he bit off and i gained 200 exp for it. i then asked how much he would charge to attack me each time, and he said 1-2k.

and im guessing th exp wont change much if they are lvl 20-10. so i reckon i could get 200 exp for 1k. which is lvl 43-44 for 1m.
Could be a new way to level lol.

19.) You hit for 1195 points of damage. XXX resists 2 for a total of 1193 damage.

Thats the whole reason the xp system is the way it is now. Because people like you trying to beat the system. Except they weren't retarded enough to pay people to get 200 xp. They did it for much more.

no matter how you design the exp system it isn't going to please everybody. I have a number of complaints about it myself, which you've all heard before so I won't bother bringing back up, but at a certain point who really cares? Is bitching about it going to fix it? There are going to be issues no matter what.

indeed.

and, shadow, seriously. you told us that once you hit level 50 it's pointless to level (you're not level 50 yet). your point has been lost in brilliance.

? im not sure what ive said wrong... and i dont need to be level 50 to know its going to be hard to level past there, seeming as there are basically no good targets past that level, so the exp would drop dramatically. and i figure the time spent levelling would be better spent training past that point untill there are at least some more targets...

the xp gain is still relative to your level. whether you have high level targets or not, you will still gain a relative increase over someone that is a lower level. the gravy level 40s that gave me 300-340 at level 40 give me 380-420 at level 55.

why blame the code when it's the lack of player base that's the problem?
