He's trying to figure out the exact effect END has on trains. Starting with a cardboard box, so the higher happiness doesn't skew his results.

I think for it to be more meaningful though, instead of levels of END listed, it should be total dev points. Because there's a difference between 27 END 0 dev points and 27 END 3900 dev points.

He is correct.
keep in mind that the more energy trained at 1 time will net you a lower result. if i recall (DRUCHI posted it a long time ago) for every 10 energy trained you loose .02% return.

i would suggest you have people send you result for a 10 and then 50 energy train.
good luck

the best rate of return is to divide your ep by 2.5 before diminishing returns begin to noticeably set in

Ive nothing to hide.

You begin doing hand-eye coordination exercises.
You have gained 16.3778 Accuracy development points by training it 14 time(s).

Endurance 27 0 27 23 959.58 3,920

If anyone sends me the result training in a cardboard box, no trainer, the info will be kept secret. I will post when I have a broad selection of results.

Thor get 280 Dev Point with 110 energy and 1150 happiness with 30 endurance
I get 204 Dev Point with 110 energy and 1250 happiness with 25 endurance

That 5 level of endurance got some pretty wild gain.
Those were just approx numbers, I get more dev points than that and i have more endu also.

If my memory is good, 16 endu (0 dev points into 17) and a ranch gets you pretty close to 1:1 dev points per energy point trained.

17-18 end with a ranch, but not 16.

I guess it depends on how much nrg is spent.

Last time I looked into it, there seemed to be 3 main factors in a non-trainer train. Don't forget that in addition to trainers, you have to factor in the 'slight increase to trains' donators see.

Happiness is treated separate from Endurance(total Dev points) and there is a 'random factor' as well. These factors seem to be added together instead of multiplied. This is why people with crazy endurance can get 1:1 or better trains in a cardboard box and people in 'very nice' housing can get 1:1 or better regardless of endurance.

The effect we see where 2 10 pt trains give you more impact at full happiness than 1 20 pt train at the same happiness seems to be based on the 'random' factor. It has a more significant impact at lower point trains than at higher ep levels since it is added instead of multiplied, so it doesn't scale up. I first thought there was some kind of 'each point drops happiness at tiny bit integral thing' going on, but I don't think it is that complicated.

I have had a really great spread of endurance so hopefully later today i'll be able to give a better idea. Early indications show the biggest jumps are from 19 to 23 with small increase thereafter.
I have messaged back all those who send me results and asked for a couple more trains to get the mean average. If I missed sending you a mail I hope you read it here lol.
Once I have compiled the results for the train in the cardboard box, I will be asking players for the results in different homes. Those I will then be able to work some formula out with regards to the home v end debate.

But why not try to fit the whole equation with all the data: Happiness, End and Energy? The format Dingus posted should be enough to determine if a given equation is valid if we get a wide enough range of people.

On a side note how to you find the exact number of dev points put into End?
