The only bonus of gangs I'm aware of is the combat bonus gangs can buy for 1k points (for level 1), the defense bonus that was in place before was removed when the gangs/gang wars were revamped.

I agree with Thor, only thing you get out of a gang (Last time I read) was upgrading your combat bonus.

And if your losing either your stats aren't better than the person your fighting and/or your equipment isn't better than that person.

All you have to do is train harder and it'll come eventually.

Yeah, this is the post that I remember which said that (which was in May). The gang war change was in July I believe. Maybe Zen left it in.

defense bonus was replaced by the combat bonus you spend war points on.
