I dared tread on the grounds of testing pretty close to when you could even start and had my fill of 'Awesome, I actually got it done that early?' I dunno..I'd rather not have to spend 10 extra weeks when I get back to training my weapons skills getting to 100%..Seems kind of silly to me. - dombone76 - 2009.Feb.08 01:53 AM hardasgranite Wrote:()() haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha.... DUDE.... this was hilarious!! +3 - DirkDanja - 2009.Feb.08 08:51 AM guess some ppl want everything handed to them, personally i have no problem with the testing system...seems fine just the way itis. if you dont like the system, stop studing skills and do other things with youre ep - Jocasta - 2009.Feb.08 09:12 AM Quote:i would choose the 100% option. when i was testing for level 5 shotgun... those 3-4 vtimes i failed set me back by like 2 weeks and gave jocasta a great advantage over me. b4 that we would go back and forth.... and i expected to be back on top of her for t least a week or so of good xp. i could not help but feel that those setbacks caused me to miss a window of opportunity that will not be open to me again for a couple months. I only just got my level 3 axe and I failed that 3 times - Brugada - 2009.Feb.08 09:59 AM I passed with a C once, failed many other times with Cs and Bs. Now I wait till 90% and never fail. - BigRedRaper - 2009.Feb.08 12:25 PM ive not really had a problem with the Tests either i usually test at 75-80% i have failed 3-4 times in a row though as mentioned by others already so got me to thinking do they give you a different exam every time u test LOL j/k and ya if i was 90% and failed once i would be pretty mad to and honestly i don't think there is a difference if u study at 75 or if u study at 80 because ive passed more in the 70's then i have at 80's i usually fail at 80 then get brought down to 70 something and study a bit more and pass in 70's. tbh - dombone76 - 2009.Feb.08 01:36 PM i thank everyone for their input. what i am getting from all this is that it seems to be in everyone's best interest to test as soon as you can at c- because it really makes no difference. sounds like the likelyhood of passing or failing is EXACTLY THE SAME in testing 72% as it is at 99.9% as crazy as it sounds... is this the system we are working with?? - NastyFO - 2009.Feb.08 02:17 PM I failed my level 2 shotgun test (starting at 90) four times in a row... trained back up and passed it. I do think the "randomness" may seem sketchy... but I spoke to Err about it and he said that it is just a percentage game like described before. I'd be for getting rid of the grade itself though... it can be misleading to some. I did pass my shotgun 3 first try though at like 85. I take my level 4 one in a couple days... we'll see what happens. - Canosoup - 2009.Feb.08 02:19 PM I've only failed once or twice. Guess I'm lucky 8) |
