I would say it sounds funny either way. I would recommend going with:

"You bet $5 and won $15 by lining up 2 numbers, pocketing your $10 profit."?

You bet $5 and won $15 by lining up 2 numbers, pocketing you an extra 10$.

You have to realize, that page was written by a 14 year old from New Zealand. I like colinmc24's version.
