Only 1 is used. Some say the system chooses which 1 randomly, others say it's always the best one used.
Maybe Zen can lighten us a bit on that if she sees this.

hopefully its the better one, because i dont have a melee equipped and if it choose my fists over my gun im screwed :/

It will never pick fists, no worries. it only chooses (random or best) between weapons so no melee means you always use your gun.
