Looking at these for now, I'd say this

Zen needs to do something about short-bladed melee to turn its appeal on

Options are:

- smaller price
- smaller req
- Career combos (a knife with ninja boost your dex, a knife with medic boost your healing power %, a construction worker with knife gets a better health regeneration cause he can butter up his bread, etc)
- Possibility to wield two melee weapons at the same time when knife

I could go on.

Throwing knives would rock too.
