acutally moriarty, looks like i might have gotten the shaft worse than you. i totally forgot about this fight. exp gains for an overpowering are just random, i guess?

We all know we get shitty xp for overpowering, there's no need to post logs over and over. what would be useful, is to come up with ideas as to how to fix it without having a small bunch of losers taking advantage of it.

And Mor, what level were you when you got 450 for an overpower, 20?? I want my 800+ back when I overpower my fellow lvl 50+...

Maybe something could be done just like the idea of giving less xp when players attack the same player too often. Like after 3 overpowers in 24 hours, the xp drops?

Also, could it be coded that if the power level or simply the level has too much difference then there is no bonus xp gained? This would fall under the same idea that was proposed before by Wook about getting a bonus xp for winning close fights with almost no hp left.

Well... Looking at my defense log. I do get crappy experience from some of the strong player. Not entire sure why.

Morning All.

Im not going to let this one lie am I

Here's why. As of yesterday Spacebird beat me. Then continued to try to rebeat me all day. so I have a log of 5 successful overpowers against him. Here are the breakdowns

Attack 1 - 386 exp
Attack 2 - 190 exp
Attack 3 - 58 exp
Attack 4 - 370 exp
Attack 5 - 93 exp

figure that lot out then. all the time in healthy to start with and lost majority of my health during all fights.

386 down to 58!

I got this today, from a person top 10 in battle stats

While some ideas are definitely taken directly from the forums and implemented ... it does seem like the biggest issue (gang wars being terrible) hasn't been fixed despite tons of threads / ideas having been thrown around ... so not sure how useful posting more ideas about other (less important) things would be.

Just my opinion but I suppose Zen was working on wars... albeit for turrets that would make wars even less worthwhile. Sorry zen but just tired of waiting for some sort of change in wars ... anything to make them more worthwhile ... this game just isn't nearly as fun without warring but who wants to do that at the expense of your characters power?

unbelievable.

for someone who beats me ritually day in and day out, i can get as low as 80 experience (i think i've gotten less before..). RARELY i'll get 200+, and once or twice i've gotten 300+ (Since the code changes so long ago).

BUT

someone who attacked me and lost by a significantly large margin gave me 192 exp. come on ... that makes NO SENSE
