It is completely illogical.

The only ones who benefit are the ones who contribute less than the average amount contributed per player. Who is going to want to contribute money for a net loss?

If all players contribute the same amount of money, everyone earns exactly what they would have earned if it were in their own bank account, again with the exception of maybe a couple of dollars.

The percent returned never changes; the amount of money in the bank account is irrelevant.

okay...say I have 5 million dollars, and I go in with 6 people who each have 5mil...say together we raise 35 million...the combined interest is more than just my 5 mil...you just pay the interest earned to each player on a different day...do you see what I mean...You can't tell me that your 5 mil earns more interest in one day than 35mil

if you pay out the interest daily though you dont get the compounding that happens over time...yes you earn more as a group, but the % never changes and if one person has all the cash then they are the only ones that have the liquidity....it sounds like a group fund to me....not bad in theory, but def need to trust the money holder and not need to make any purchases any time soon....id prefer to buy a house

so 20,000,000x 0.027% interest = $540,000

20% of $540k is 108k

but, if i were to just leave that 4 million in my account i will still get 108k in interest.
4,000,000 x 0.027 = 108,000

its the same thing
