There is a different between then and now.
Presently, G2 is willing to stop at anytime. Actually, he wants to stop.
It's totally opposite from before, where G2 just want to hassle Space in an extend period of time.
The motive behind these two scenes are different.
The difference between then and now is that the boot is on the other foot. Conrad has passed him in power lvl, no wonder G2 is willing to call a truce
