What's the reason to use the pistols instead of the axes?

Is the weight difference worth the dmg difference?

The reason why someone uses axes for wars; they hit big. It's not a weight difference, most likely. I just don't feel like swapping weapons all the freakin' time.

I carry only one primary weapon

It's faster to unequip the pistols, than it is to unequip an axe and re-equip the sword.

I got caught enough times in battle with NO weapon as I was switching from axe to sword.

The pistols SHOULDN'T be used for defense as they're inferior, and aren't chosen when I attack, but we've done enough testing to know that it picks them every time for defense.

Eventually this bug will get fixed, and it'll make more sense to carry both.

Hideout damage on the swords is abysmal, so we have to carry something else. Hell, I do more damage with a tibar than a million dollar sword.

with 3 MA ranks and the Dicoate Titanium Nodachi Blade(LBM) i average about 18-20 damage per hit...

Try never going over 25 damage. Getting lots of single digits, too, like Dingus on a good night.

one weapon....keep that weak ass melee equipped during wars and watch us pt the sh i t out of you...if your stats and weapons and skills are equal then go for it .....if not you are a bloomin onion idiot
