I assume the ionized does more normal damage than the electric, but what about hideout hits?

I really like it for hideout hits, with 2 levels in Military Assault I've hit mid-50s with it, not too bad I think for a sub-20 player. I don't PvP that much so I didn't really notice how much of a jump occurred when I upgraded from the Electric.
