Found the "fix" in IE 8 that you can actually do yourself.

Apparently standards-compliant stylesheets that we use just don't cut it with IE 8. So they added a "compatibility view" option to cover their butts.

Click on the Tools menu at the top of your browser.

Click on the "Compatibility View" option to enable it for the page you are viewing.

OR

Click on the "Compatibility View Settings" option and then add awakenedlands.com to the list. This should fix any issues you have with spacing in the forums for the time being. I'll do some more research on why CSS is not working in IE 8.

downgraded to IE7 than started using FF Smile
